A natural element with inherent biocidal capabilities, iodine interacts with pathogens at a cellular level, destroying their proteins and killing them. At the same time, this incredible element is remarkably biocompatible in humans and animals. Every vertebrate on planet Earth creates molecular iodine as a part of its immune system. I2Pure's molecular iodine technology can easily be integrated within systems used to clean sanitary process lines, vessels, and equipment commonly used in a variety of manufacturing settings. An iodinized sanitizer in the Clean-in-Place Cycle is highly effective at reducing bacterial and biofilm growth. At the same time, iodine is a natural element that is far less toxic to humans and less dangerous to the environment than alternative products such as hypochlorite solutions, chlorine dioxide or peracetic acid.

Surface Disinfection

Surface disinfectant sprays or wipes containing molecular iodine can destroy a broad spectrum of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, pathogenic fungi and viruses that may be on any surface. I2Pure surface disinfectant formulations leave no residue, are not a danger to skin, and act immediately on pathogens.
